DIRECTIONS

PREPARATION:
CLEAN surface THOROUGHLY, remove oxidation, grease,
oil, stains, etc. With mild abrasive and/or strong detergent.
When surface is dry, make sure oxidation and residue is
removed
ON COLOR SURFACES ONLY.  Keep in mind that
whatever is on the surface will be sealed in after applying
P0LY- GLASS.  If above does not remove enough oxidation,
GO OVER with 1000 grit wet/dry or finer is recommended.
DO NOT WORRY ABOUT OXIDATION ON CREAM OR WHITE
COLOR, Poly-Glass will give a wet look shine

APPLICATION:
Make sure surface is thoroughly dry.  Apply in an area that is
as dust free as  possible. If outdoors, be sure to apply on a
day that is not so windy that dust and dirt are blown on the
surface during application. Surface to be 50 to 95 degrees
Fahrenheit, and not hot to touch.  May
be applied in direct sunlight.

RUBBER GLOVES ARE RECOMMENDED.  Pour a small
amount of POLY GLASS in a shallow
container, saturate one  applicator with POLY GLASS then
ring out.  Hold applicator rolled flat to
surface and apply slowly with long straight strokes.  Avoid
going over same area with a second
stroke until dry.  Don’t worry about slight streaking or
disappearance during the first couple of passes of
applications.  Drying time should  be  30 to 40 seconds
between coats

WE STRESS THIN MULTIPLE APPLICATIONS.  MINIMUM OF
4 COATS, DRYING TIME BETWEEN COATS SHOULD BE 30-
50 SECONDS, !!!!!!

NOT recommended for automobiles, textured surface and
nonskid DECKS, a Test Area should be done first to see if
application becomes slippery.  DO NOT LET POLY-GLASS FREEZE.

EACH COATING will increase luster; apply as many coats as
you wish to obtain luster desired.
After applying the last coat, allow 24 hours for curing, before
conventional cleaning. Clean with mild detergent and water.  Wash and
wax products are recommended, you can even apply a
polish for longer lasting effects, should last then 14 months
in Bahamas, recommend a acrylic base, can be found in auto or discount
stores.

   Questions

Number #1 How do I keep it beautiful or it looks
good now
Wash & Shine (click on the red for info)

Number 2 question is-- I have a similar product on
boat now do I need to stripe off old==NO not usually
just go over lightly with a strong soap with a scrub
pad, this will level old out and re-apply.

If you want to strip it off, wet boat first and use
Greased Lighting straight, spray on small area (3 X 4
ft) and just lightly go over with a scrub pad and then
you can re apply.

Number 3 Question Do you want me to scrub my
boat so hard thats its dull --NO ALL WE WANT IS A
CLEAN SURFACE IF NEWER THAN 5 YEARS IT WILL
STILL HAVE A SHINE EVEN WITHOUT WAX OR
POLY-GLASS

Number 4. Why don't you sell a stain remover and
prep. ?? Stains are different around the country and
certain things work better in certain areas
depending on location.
Prep is high butel detergent and can be found
locally, why pay shipping etc. We want to keep Poly-
Glass the easiest and most user friendly product out
there. These products like Greased Lighting are also
a great bilge cleaning product.

I HAVE BEEN INVOLVED WITH THIS TYPE OF
SYSTEM SINCE 1988 KEEP IT SIMPLE BECAUSE IT
IS  !!!!!  Kurt Schenholm
